Conditions of Entry:
Entrants may enter a maximum of TWO works, if works are sold and entrant can submit work to replace sold items.
Each entry must have the entrant’s name, address, telephone number, title of the work, and price on the back.
The same information must also be on a separate swing tag which is long enough to hang over the front of the artwork when hung.
Framed work must be soundly framed with D rings and cord, ready for hanging.
Size restrictions: the maximum length of the longest side must not exceed 100cm. This is inclusive of any frame.
Paper pieces may be hung with bulldog clips and weighted at the bottom or have 4 plastic tags for pinning.
Oversize pieces will not be accepted.
All works must be for sale
The price must include 20% commission and allow for GST.
Original art only
All works must be original and not infringe the copyright of any other artist.
The work must have been completed since September 2019.
Work must not have been exhibited anywhere else in New Zealand.
Labelling your work
Please ensure your name, address, phone number, section, title of the piece, and price are marked clearly on the work and/or packaging of the work.
Damage / Loss Insurance
All insurance is the responsibility of the artist. Whilst all due care will be taken, the Franklin Arts Festival Committee is not responsible for any damage or loss that may occur.
Artist contact details will not be supplied to outside parties without consent of the artist.
Contact details of those who purchase artwork at the Festival will also remain confidential.
By entering this competition, the artist agrees that the Franklin Arts Festival Society may use the entry for all promotional and media purposes.
Receipt of entry forms, fees and artworks
Delivery of entry forms and fees - 24 August, 5pm. Incomplete or ineligible entry forms will be returned.
No late entries will be accepted.
No title or price changes will be accepted after the entry closing date.
Full payment instructions will be included in a confirmation email which you will receive after submitting your entry.
Franklin Arts Festival reserves the right to refuse photos of artworks that are of insufficient quality, for the purposes of the online show.
Delivery of Art Work
Tuesday 1 September
All works to be hand delivered between 9:30am and 4:30pm to the Franklin Arts Centre, Steel Mill Gallery Work will not be accepted unless entry fees have been paid.
If FAF are required to provide packaging for return delivery, The entrant will be invoiced for a packaging fee of up to $20 plus courier fee if not supplied.
Delivery by Courier
Art work may be couriered to arrive between 24 and 31 Aug 2020

All couriered work must be suitably packaged for delivery and for repackaging and return if the work is not sold.
Franklin Arts Festival is not responsible for damage to works in transit.

Collection of work
Friday 9 October 9:30am - 4:30pm
Your receipt of entry must be sighted before work is released.
Please note: work will not be released unless this is available Alternative arrangements may be made for delivery and collection of work if required.
Entries not collected within 7 days of the collection date become the property of the Festival.
