The Franklin Art Show is an annual event to showcase local and national artists.

Organised by the Franklin Arts Festival Society Inc and a team of volunteers, the show has run since 1990.

In 2024 over 1000 visitors viewed the 440 artworks on display during the 10-day show.

Prizewinners from the show were then exhibited in the NZ Steel Gallery at Franklin: The Centre until the 11 October.

Thank you to all the entrants, visitors and volunteers for making the Franklin Art Show such a wonderful experience.

The 2024 Franklin art Show has now closed.

All Artworks can still be viewed here on the website under 2024 Entries.

2025 Entry Sections – the format for the next Franklin Art Show is yet to be decided.
