Honoured to call Ookarahea, Te Puaha o Waikato home and heart, Carin Nicola is deeply influenced by her west coast surrounds – the colours, textures and tension between land, sea & sky, and the serendipity of found objects. Carin works predominantly within a neutral colour palate, highlighting texture and simple form whilst exploring pacifist, humane ideology from a conscience perspective.
