Inspired by the textures, patterns and colours of the natural environment, I’m a mixed media abstract artist and creative maker. As a South African born immigrant to New Zealand, I have an ongoing passion to deepen my understanding of my tūrangawaewae / my place to stand here in New Zealand and in the world. These works reflect my recently acquired passion for collage, textiles and embroidery.
