Michelle Sigley, better known as The Flawsome Artist, is a Whanganui-based full-time artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and an inability to leave any surface unpainted. Working across murals, oils, watercolours, acryllics, ceramics, and the occasional completely impractical idea, her art celebrates people, nature, community, and the beautiful imperfections that make life interesting. When she’s not covered in paint, she’s usually juggling commissions, community projects, teenagers, and a coffee habit that borders on a personality trait. Michelle’s work is driven by curiosity, connection, and a belief that art should spark conversation, joy, and the occasional smile.
