“Ocean’s Embrace”

This handcrafted stained glass sculpture captures the power, movement, and serenity of the ocean. Inspired by the ever-changing New Zealand coastline, the flowing lines and layered shades of blue and turquoise reflect the energy of a breaking wave, while the white glass evokes sea foam as it curls toward the shore.

Each piece of glass has been carefully selected for its unique colour and texture, allowing light to bring the artwork to life from every angle. Mounted on a piece of naturally weathered driftwood, the sculpture celebrates the connection between land and sea, combining reclaimed natural materials with the timeless craft of stained glass.

Designed and handcrafted in my Pukekawa studio, this piece invites viewers to pause and appreciate the beauty, strength, and rhythm of the natural world.
