Passing Front considers atmosphere as something that shapes the landscape rather than simply passing over it. Built through successive layers of oil paint, the work remains deliberately unresolved, allowing light and weather to emerge gradually from the surface. Rather than depicting a specific place, the painting explores the shifting conditions through which recognition occurs. It invites a slower way of looking, where distance, weather and memory remain in continual negotiation, and the landscape is experienced as an unstable atmospheric condition rather than a fixed view.
