The empty spaces within each work are as significant as the objects themselves. They imply an absent inhabitant while simultaneously inviting the viewer to occupy the scene. From this perspective, the sculptures become portraits without figures—explorations of the hidden aspects of identity that are revealed through the environments we create and the objects we keep close.
