Belonging

A horse quietly emerges from a field of light, its form revealed through layers of texture, shadow, and sculpted surface. Created as part of the evolving HERD series, Belonging explores the longing to find a place where we are accepted simply for who we are. The soft whites and warm earth tones speak of peace after struggle, while the dark horizon anchors the work to the land. It is a reflection on home—not as a place we find, but as something we grow into.
