Sunset Graphic Kowhai

The graphic image in the background is created by pressing indent designs into foam board. Ink is rolled onto the board in an ombre effect of merging colours that give the look of a sunset. This is then pressed onto the paper. The indent design shows up where the ink doesn’t touch the paper. The kowhai is drawn over the ink print with pencil, then painted with acrylic paint.
