My paintings tend to be loose representations of imagined underground forms and systems. Formed over millennia, subject to physical forces and actions, on a time scale that is hard for me to fathom. With this imagery, I reference an unseen world that sometimes seems difficult to grasp, but which I sense throughout the natural world.
