At The Dead Sea

I created this artwork of my aunty, after she visited New Zealand for the first time last year (2023). Meeting her and hearing all the memories she shared with my siblings and parents made me envious of how little memories she and I shared. When she returned to the Middle East I found a photo of her at the Dead Sea that my sister had taken, when visiting her. I found that by painting this picture of my aunty, I felt closer to her as if I had been there with her at the Dead Sea.
