Cutting glass is not my favourite thing to do – especially with a piece like this. The small stripes are called”stringers”, layed out on a sheet of glass, fired then cut into 2mm strips. The larger piece in the middle has been cut into squares then triangles and placed, some up, some down, within the strips – all fused, slumped and sand blasted.
