Glimpse

This work has been created to be viewed in many ways. Made from multi-ply strips of whitewashed reclaimed newspaper, which have been woven directly onto canvas, the projections were created to allow the work to be activated by light, appearing different in different light, casting shadows that move during the day. Some of the projections have been painted on one side resulting in viewers standing side by side seeing completely different things. Like something you see out of the corner of your eye as you move past it, Glimpse’s genesis lies within a previous work I called “Shifting Perspectives”.
