Kaitiaki: Kept Safe

This piece is a collaboration across generations, featuring an unfinished bone carving originally crafted by my father-in-law, Don Henry Whiteman. To honor his memory and legacy, I completed his delicate carving and suspended it within my own handcrafted wooden pod. Bound in natural wood this sculpture serves as a vessel connecting our shared craftsmanship and family story.
