Mount Washmore – A monumental, ever-growing landmark of dirty, clean, and “worn for two hours so it’s not really dirty but not clean enough for the closet” clothing items. Widely recognized as one of the modern wonders of the domestic world.A geological formation constructed primarily of mismatched socks, forgotten workout gear, and hoodies borrowed three years ago that are never going back. This mixed media artwork takes a humorous look at domestic life, pairing a tiny figure with a towering \”Mount Washmore\” to capture how utterly daunting a never-ending pile of laundry can feel. Standing victorious at the summit, our heroine may not have folded a single item yet, but simply getting it washed, dumped, and prepared for the trek ahead is a triumph in itself.
