Raranga

Inspired by traditional Māori flax weaving (raranga), this fused glass piece is made by hand, weaving strips of coloured glass together before firing them in the kiln. The natural greens, whites, and earthy tones reflect Aotearoa’s landscape, creating a one-of-a-kind piece that comes to life as the light shines through.
