Turmoil shows kina shells spiraling down in the sea, revealing the shape of the shell at different angles. The white dots on the shells are what is left when the spikes fall off. The patterns of the dots on each segment are always in the same order.
Tui Magic is one tui feather enlarged on the canvas to show the variation of colours that are in each feather to give it the special effects of the bird as a whole.
Patterns of Nature shows the inside of an empty paua shell. Like most shells the colour is amazing and differs from shell to shell, some more blue hues, others more green hues which mix in together.
