Amy Jayne Smith

Amy Jayne Smith is a nature artist based in Pōkeno, working primarily in acrylic and ink on reclaimed wood. Her work explores the quiet magic of gardens, seasons, and the deep connection between people and place. Blending nostalgia, whimsy, and slow living, Amy paints to honour the beauty in everyday life—from beloved blooms to fleeting moments of stillness. Inspired by her own garden, motherhood, and the New Zealand landscape, she creates pieces that invite the viewer to pause and feel at home. Each artwork is a reflection on belonging—to land, to self, and to the present moment.
