Based in Kingseat, I draw ideas from the industrial environment I work in, past memories and the social climate around us.
My creative process begins with fleeting thoughts – small, almost subconscious observations made during the day – which accumulate over time and are gradually woven and layered into a painting.
Texture and symbolic imagery play a central role in my work, acting both as a sensory language incorporating metaphors, memories and emotions.
You Should have been here yesterday, the weather was amazing.
