My art reflects my experiences as a young woman entering her 20s and learning how gender shapes my experience of the world. My paintings show the experience of every anxious overachiever, beauty queen, hopeless romantic, and girls who just wanna have fun – using surrealism and bright colours juxtaposed with dark themes to tell stories of anxiety, sexuality, femininity, and consumption.
