30 years creating, but now “less is more”
My creative urges wax and wane. I no longer wake at 3 am to scribble down inspiration.
Colour, texture and line, have always been important in my mixed media works. Collage and markmaking still are favourites.
Gimblett, Len Lye, Robin White, Hotere – are artists I admire.
Nature, architecture, music, gardens, good friends – all important for my sanity.
Blue cheese, green olives, red wine – delicious.
