Caroline Burton is a contemporary artist residing in Tamaki Makaurau, Auckland.
Through her work, Burton seeks to express connections between the seen and the
unseen. Finding parallels between the physical world and spiritual experience, she
often draws on her background in engineering and interest in geological forms. Whilst
she works across a range of mediums, including fibre, paint and print, Burton finds
fibre to be a medium that grounds her in the physicality of the process.
