Chelsea Twiss is an artist based in Pukekohe. In 2021 Chelsea graduated with a BFA (hons) from Elam School of Fine Arts. Primarily working in printmaking and painting, Chelsea’s works embody pattern and textural elements to create emotive and ambiguous compositions. Inspired by worldbuilding, Chelsea works with her own unique, imagined, narrative providing the subject of her artmaking. For example, many of the figures present in Chelsea’s works are like friends to her which provide a glimpse into her imagination.
