Gloria is inspired by her immediate surroundings and memories of the beautiful places that shaped her life and experiences. In 2026, Gloria is remembering the wildlife of Africa from her younger days while the nature in and around Te Aroha, including her garden, continues to offer new subjects of interest. Gloria is loving the freedom of wet-on-wet watercolour combined with bold charcoal lines for added contrast and texture.
