Helen is an award-winning, self-taught artist now residing in Raglan.

Typically iconic and quirky in nature, Helen’s work is often parable-like with many messages, some obvious and some not obvious. Her message is delivered in bold and vibrant colours, often with a twist of humour.

She has won numerous awards, including the KG Fraser Award for the most outstanding painting at the Royal Easter Show.

Helen has had extremely successful solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions with consistent sales.

Helen’s paintings are very popular and many of her works hang in private collections internationally and throughout New Zealand.
Helen is very happy to accept commissions. She can do figurative, portraits, pets, and places, accommodating ideas etc from her clients.
