Lynda Jane Dodd

Lynda Jane (Dodd) was raised on the Awhitu peninsula at Wattle Bay. Much of her artwork is inspired by Awhitu and her experiences there. This affinity translates to her popular west coast acrylic driftwood paintings. Currently she paints a variety of subjects in oils on canvas. She enjoys doing commissions in any medium.

Lynda Jane is an award-winning watercolour artist. In addition, her acrylic and driftwood art has been placed multiple times in exhibitions. She has held solo and group exhibitions.

Lynda Jane was the initial Franklin Arts Trail Coordinator for 3 years and has served on the Franklin Arts Festival Committee. Currently she is a partner in the Pollok Arts and Crafts Cooperative, with an 8year tenure.
