Muriel Garrett

Studied fine art, ceramics, silversmithing and silk screen printing at Liverpool College of Art, and business studies at Underwood Business College Liverpool.
I spent three years living in Paris. I enjoy painting atmospheric landscapes and seascapes. Lived and worked internationally, my work is held in collections in England,France,Australia,New Zealand,Canada, and Italy.
“I strive to produce works that are a compelling visual experience and invoke the senses.”
Key influences: Monet, Pissaro, Sisley and Turner.
As Joshua Reynolds said, “A mere copier of nature can never produce something great.”
