Originally from South Africa Robyn Lamont visited New Zealand in 2003, fell in love with the people & the beautiful landscapes, and decided to make it her home. She now lives in Pōkeno, a small town just outside of Auckland.
In South Africa Robyn studied textile design & worked as a designer. Since moving to New Zealand she has found a love of bright landscapes, ink botanicals, and native bird illustrations. Her paintings & prints usually feature her stylized style – stripping an image or scene right down to a few outlines, then adding in texture, colour, & a final layer of ink detail.
Robyn’s artworks are held in collections both in New Zealand and overseas.
