Originally from South Africa, Robyn visited New Zealand in 2003, fell in love with the people and the scenery, and decided to make it her home.

Robyn originally studied Textile and Surface Design, later working as a designer for Dano Textiles. Since settling in New Zealand, her creative focus has shifted more toward fine art, where she works predominantly in acrylics & mixed media.

Her signature style is bold and stylised—reducing scenes to their essential forms, then building them back up with high contrasting vibrant colour palettes, glazes, and layers of fine ink detail.

Robyn’s work celebrates the joy and the simplicity of everyday moments & places, creating her own world, where things are a little bit brighter than reality.
