Suzanne Kay Walsham

Sue Walsham – Born in Pukekohe (1959), and educated at Pukekohe High School and North Shore Teachers’ College. I’ve just retired from 47 years of teaching, having spent the last 37 of these educating Year 7 and 8 students as a Visual Art Specialist. My goal has always been to encourage learners to become visually literate, by identifying with the elements of line, tone, texture, shape, form, pattern and colour. I endeavour to explore a range of these elements in my own art work, ultimately ‘practising what I have preached’ over the years.

Thank you to all our sponsors

On behalf of the Franklin Arts Festival we would like to extend our gratitude to all our sponsors.
Without their generous patronage the Art Show would not take place.

As an event we depend on their support and in return we hope you can support them too.
