VIRGINIA ZHOU – Watercolour Artist Based in Waiuku, Virginia was first drawn to art as a child. By chance, she took the opportunity to join an online water colour class, inspired by the teacher, she felt in love with this water-based media. Since then, she has attended different groups exhibitions, such as Franklin Art Exhibition, Mt Albert Grammar School Art Show, Waitakere Trusts Art Exhibition, and the Watercolour New Zealand online competition.
In 2023, Virginia won Watercolour New Zealand Gorgon Harris Winter online Competition.
Virginia enjoys painting in hazy, gauzy, atmospheric style, and seizing the moment of movement and actions onto the paper.
