A little history…
The Franklin Arts Festival Society was formed in 1989 as a non-profit organisation.
We celebrate and promote the artwork of established and emerging artists in the wider Franklin Local Board area of the Auckland Super City.
Schools are encouraged to showcase their work alongside the main exhibition, and their work will be on display in the foyer of Franklin:The Centre.
The ‘Frankly Small’ art show is open to all New Zealand resident artists.
Last year over 500 artworks were exhibited, a diverse range of mediums including painting, sculpture, textile, photography, glass, and wood turning.
The 2025 show ‘Frankly Small’ will be displayed in the New Zealand Steel Gallery at the Franklin Arts Centre.
