I am a self taught artist and since retiring have become more involved in creating artworks with the help of classes in order to become more proficient in using different techniques such as print making, drawing, painting and botanic art illustration. Being a member of the Auckland Botanic Art Group has been very beneficial.
The natural world, particularly flowers, wild plants, and insects are my inspiration, and I am fortunate enough to live in a rural environment where I can observe the growth and change in plants through the seasons in my garden, in the fields and the bush that surrounds our property.
