How do you roll? Over or under?
This art piece is just plain fun! A lot …and I mean a lot of experimenting went into this work and fiddling around.
This really is a mixed media work. On first glimpse the printed background just looks like a pattern but when you look closer you can see the words ‘Over’ and ‘Under’ on each side of the page. I love this cheeky look into what this artwork is all about as it’s often the great debate in many households. The toilet roll holders are made of plastic and the toilet rolls themselves are made of tissue paper. Also just like the real thing, they have tiny cardboard rolls inside and they do in fact unroll. Unreal huh!
I’m glad with how it turned out although I will be happy to never see a mini toilet roll again any time soon… plus Im sick of super glueing my fingers together !
Hopefully it makes you laugh a little when viewing it as that is its purpose.
