At the time, I wanted to practice drawing realistic skin tones. What was originally suppose to be a quick practice drawing became on of my favorite pieces.
I was absolutely captivated by a charming photo of an old lady and her pigeons taken by Dennis Jarvis. I wanted to capture the pure joy in my piece that makes the original so great.
This work started with inspirational garden flowers in art class, early this year. I love the variety of shapes, shades, and colours of this arrangement and hoped to capture the essence of form, mood, and joy of the late summer flowers.
I have chosen to do this art because of how many emotions resides inside a person, many cannot express their own feelings properly to which I can also relate.
