Panoramic view of multi colour lupins presented such wealth of Nature to me that I loved to capture these lupins in my painting. Though short-lived , lupins are vibrant and spectacular. My painting “Lupin Galore” features their bloom in large fields.
This painting was done with oils (Zorn palate) to try to capture the subject’s feeling (“quiet resolve”) to move forward from one place to another, like past to future. This coincides with my evolution as a painter. I am endeavoring to capture the woman’s resistance as well as her strong will to reach her objective.
