This process creates a many-coloured piece of work that is delicate and beautiful. The colours from the reverse side of the glass can be seen from the front, providing a contrasting outline to the front colours. Making a glass coral is all to do with understanding how glass reacts to heat. Precise thicknesses are used and the process takes three firings, with cleaning and grinding between firings.
