Salvation

Salvation

Salvation was created using ink, spray paint and oils.
This piece is about struggle. The dust and pollutants creating the haze in this piece represents my clouded mind about our planets future.
It’s about inflation and the corporate greed of the industries that suck the earth of it’s resources to an unreplenishable point.
It is about the struggle I’m confronting; Is it a moral choice to have children today?
The world needs good people, but is it fair to welcome them into this environment?
Straying from my normal process the spray paint was added last, disobeying the rule of ‘fat’ over thin materials. This was done to capture that ‘dust’ in the work.
Gold spray paint was used last as I choose to believe there is hope, that as a race we will figure it out and find Salvation.
