Pressure Study II: Compression Failure - 2026
Examines the point at which accumulated layers can no longer maintain equilibrium. Dense concentrations of alcohol ink press into one another before separating through pooling, edge formation and diffusion. The work records the interaction between controlled application and the material’s inherent tendency to shift, disperse and redistribute.
Erosion Study II: Active Dispersal - 2026
Successive layers of alcohol ink record the movement of pigment through flow, separation and deposition. Softened edges, transparent washes and areas of accumulation reveal erosion as a continuous process of redistribution across the surface.
