Fractured Light was made using a combination of ink, spray paint, acrylic and oil paint to produce a mysterious, sensual pop art piece.
On the “tippy top” of many a New Zealand hill sit homes, families, stories & our sanctuaries. This is a stylized view of one of these special spots at golden hour, painted witj pops of colour in acrylic and detailed in coloured pencil, neocolor crayons, and inks.
In this instance I have used receycled shelf glass with lustres on the tin side – they react beautifully together. The plate was layed on the kiln shelf on top of smashed used ceramic casting material, then slumped in a bowl mold.
