The only time I sit still is when I am making art or eating. Otherwise you’ll find me working and adventuring outside. The outdoors and all that’s involved within these spaces are important to me.

Native manu (birds) in particular hold a special place in my heart. While growing up I was fortunate enough to have had the ngahere (forest) in my backyard. Fast forward to today and manu have become a prominent theme within my work.
Like us they exist in something bigger than ourselves.
