Born in England, Amy now lives in rural Pōkeno with her family. In addition to being a personal trainer and stay-at-home mum to her two-year-old daughter, she explores her past experiences and reparenting journey through her art. Amy’s expressive style involves mixing paint directly on the canvas in thick brushstrokes, focusing on the emotions and process rather than perfection. Her work examines parenthood, mental health, and diet culture, aiming to offer viewers a glimpse of positivity, growth, and hope. She hopes to connect with others and provide encouragement through her personal reflections.
Thank you to all our sponsors
On behalf of the Franklin Arts Festival we would like to extend our gratitude to all our sponsors.
Without their generous patronage the Art Show would not take place.
As an event we depend on their support and in return we hope you can support them too.
