My name is Andy and I’m an amateur artist. I paint in oils and typically paint portraits of people however I decided to showcase a couple of animal portraits for this exhibit. I wanted to create a vivid representation of the bond and identity between pet and owner by focusing on just their pets. Pets often become an extension of their owner’s personality and their lives and identities intertwine, creating what I believe are unique and loving partnerships.
