My background has been in stained glass overlay commission works for private and commercial clients. Some of my artwork is in and around New Plymouth.
Places like the Hospice foyer and the Hospice chapel.
When I fell in love with painting with fibre my creative juices just came out in the wool. I’ve just loved working with wool, silk and other fibres to create images.
The art of pushing fibre with a barbed needle into pre-felt is a meditative process that’s so relaxing. Needle felting is mainly my medium, as I like the organic flexibility of being able to undo and blend colours to create different tones.
