Jan Maree Vodanovich

After a few years away from the art scene, I’m diving back into my creative world with renewed passion. My journey is deeply rooted in my love for New Zealand, a place where the Earth, Sky, and Ocean converge in breathtaking harmony. This land’s muted yet vibrant palette, the transformative play of light on everyday objects, and the intricate textures of nature—from the grain of wood to the markings in shell and stone—serve as my greatest inspirations.

My artistic expression spans photography, pencil, ink, paint, sculpture, and wearable art. I’m captivated by ethnic and rustic aesthetics and thrive on the tactile sensations of materials like leather and clay. Every piece I create reflects the beauty and essence of our world, blending shapes, meanings, and words. Through my work, I share my wonder and appreciation, inviting others to experience the world as I do: with deep reverence and vibrant curiosity.
