After 40 years of teaching I now enjoy time to paint and create. I am inspired by the environment of the coastal landscape of the Coromandel Peninsula where I live. My love is of colour, light and texture. Each artwork is a memory and echo of a feeling of a place a time, the weather, a recollection of the place, the land, the hills, the rocks and beach. The beauty of our New Zealand landscape provides me with limitless opportunities to paint.
