Began pencil drawing at an early age of five years. Later I started painting in watercolour up until 1980. From that point, I began using watercolour in earnest, teaching myself the techniques of this medium. Later in my career I mastered the use of acrylics on board and canvas and have continued to use this medium up to the present time. I have exhibited in galleries in Hamilton, Auckland, Howick and the Blue Orange Gallery in Tuakau. I have won numerous awards at the Waihi and Franklin Arts Festivals. Two of these were supreme awards at the Franklin Arts Festival held in Pukekohe. Presently, I work from my home studio in Pukekawa.
