I am a visual artist based in North Auckland. I primarily work in graphite or ink to create works that intersect portraiture, object and touches of surrealism. I am influenced by ideas of ‘femininity’ and what that entails for the modern woman as well as how that can cross paths with being of Japanese and New Zealand heritage. Often trying to find the connection between the two lands.
