As a South African-born artist from Cape Town, now based in New Zealand, my work is deeply rooted in the contrasting worlds I’ve experienced. Growing up, I was captivated by the unique, rugged beauty of Cape Town’s landscapes – vivid memories that never left me, even after moving across the ocean. My art is a homage to this wild and untamed scenery, where the land’s grandeur collides with the harsh realities of life.
